Churches
St Mark’s Church Hamilton Terrace is not only a place for worship, but they also have a children’s choir, put on many concerts and social events. Since the big fire in 2023, everything runs slighly differently, so please check their website for full information on services and more.
St John’s Wood Church (at the bottom of the High Street by the roundabout) is an Anglican church. They have a 9.30 am service with a junior church Sunday school and a crèche for children, and an 11 am Sunday service with a choir of professional singers. The crèche for children is available at both services.
St Saviour’s Church Warwick Avenue in Little Venice is part of The Parish of Little Venice which consists of that church as well as St Mary on Paddington Green. St Saviour’s in particular is a very popular church with a vibrant congregation. St Saviour’s C of E Primary School (state school) is attached to it and is very popular with families.
Church of Our Lady is a Catholic church at the corner of St John’s Wood Road and Lisson Grove.
St John’s Wood Road Baptist Church is situated on St John’s Wood Road.
Abbey Road Baptist Church is as the name suggests situated on Abbey Road almost opposite the famous Beatles pedestrian crossing.
Mosque
The obvious one is The London Central Mosque located on Park Road by Regent’s Park.
Synagogues
The Liberal Jewish Synagogue (LJS) is situated opposite Lord’s Cricket Ground. It has a nursery, LJS Nursery School, attached to it which is open faith.
St John’s Wood Synagogue,also referred to as Shul in the Wood, situated on Grove End Road is a popular orthodox synagogue. It has a nursery, St John’s Wood Synagogue Kindergarten, attached to it.
The New London Synagogue is situated on the corner of Abbey Road and Marlborough Place.
